Transportation
From the Airport
There are two main transportation options from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport into the city.
The Airporter: A daily shuttle service that operates between the airport and all major Halifax hotels including the Westin Nova Scotia. Core hours of operation are 6:00 am to midnight. Taxi and limousine services: Readily available in the domestic arrivals area for all arriving flights. A one way trip to Halifax city center is $53.00. Prices differ for other destinations.
Getting Around Halifax
Halifax City is compact and it is relatively easy to walk to most destinations within the city core. However, if you would like to travel further afield, there are a number of options.
Public Transit: Halifax Metro Transit operates a range of bus routes throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality. For a detailed schedule go to www.halifax.ca/metrotransit.
